In addition, the IU Chinese Flagship program offers a comprehensive training program designed to produce global professionals with superior Chinese language skills: the Chinese Flagship Program for undergraduates. An eight-week residential Chinese language program is also offered through the summer Flagship Chinese Institute.
Center for Language Technology and Instructional Enrichment (CeLTIE) provides the technological expertise and professional development to support language learning, teaching, research, and assessment.
Conversation clubs and language tables provide weekly opportunities to converse with fellow learners and native speakers.
Zhongwen.com, developed by Rick Harbaugh, an EASC faculty member and assistant professor of business economics and public policy with the IU Kelley School of Business, is a genealogy and dictionary of Chinese characters. It graphically demonstrates the close interconnections between more than 4,000 Chinese characters.
