East Asian Studies Center Director Michael Brose and collaborator have been awarded a grant from Germany's Fritz Thyssen Foundation to organize an international workshop "Halal Economies in Non-Muslim States." The workshop is to be held at IU's Europe Gateway located in Berlin,Germany from May 3-4, 2019.
