Morgan Short

Program Assistant, Taiwan Studies Initiative

Morgan Short currently serves as the program assistant for the East Asian Studies Center's Taiwan Studies Initiative. She is also pursuing a dual Master's degree in Public Affairs and International Affairs through the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Law and Institutions and East Asian Languages and Cultures from the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies in May 2025. She spent the summer of 2024 studying at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. In addition to Taiwan studies, her research focuses on China's role in global development.
