Looking for real-world experience to put on your resume? Want to get the most of IU’s multi-cultural atmosphere and get involved in the East Asian community in Bloomington? EASC has just the opportunity for you.
Indiana University’s East Asian Studies Center has designed an unpaid internship program open to IU undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will work alongside EASC staff in planning and executing the full range of this unique National Resource Center’s activities. EASC works to increase awareness of East Asia through community outreach and academic support. Each semester, EASC hosts numerous renowned scholars as part of its colloquium series. Each year, EASC helps plan and orchestra cultural events on the IU campus hosting hundreds of attendees. As an EASC intern, you can be an integral part of organizing these and many more events.
Both the hours and the duration of an internship can be arranged according to your schedule. Following the program, interns can consider applying for an EASC staff position.
To apply for an internship, please submit a resume and cover letter to easc@indiana.edu. If you have questions about the program, you can also send them to the same email address.
